Tack & Turnout provides access to the DinkyRugs.co.uk / TackAndTurnout.co.uk website (the website). Please read these terms and conditions carefully. By using the website you agree to be bound by these terms.
PRICES All prices are in pounds sterling. Every effort will be made to show the correct prices on this website. However, we reserve the right to amend prices and discontinue any items as necessary.
AVAILABILITY All products are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. We aim to keep stocks of all items offered on this website but if your order cannot be fulfilled you will be informed and we will advise you of the expected delivery date.
TAX CHARGES VAT at 20% is included in all products (where applicable) on this site and is payable on all orders made from the UK or the European Union. All other orders are exempt from VAT. This will be confirmed before processing your order.
CUSTOMS Goods sent outside the UK may be subject to import duties and taxes and these will be levied once the parcel reaches its destination country. Any charges for customs must be paid by the customer. We have no control over these charges and do not know what they may be as customs policies vary from country to country. You can find full details by contacting your local customs officer.
PAYMENTS Debit or Credit cards - can be used to make payments via this website. Cards are not debited until goods are ready for despatch. Where made-to-order (Custom) items have been ordered, your card will be debited before work on the item/s is started. Cheques – please allow 10 days for your cheque to clear. Cheques should be made payable to Tack & Turnout (not Dinky Rugs). Tack & Turnout is our business name and Dinky Rugs is our Registered Trade Mark. Postal Orders – should be made payable to Tack & Turnout. Gift Vouchers – can only be redeemed via post. We will need to receive the actual voucher and any additional payment if applicable.
CREDIT CARD SECURITY Information submitted by visitors to this site is sent via a secure, encrypted connection. Your card details are automatically deleted once your payment has been made and the details are not stored elsewhere. Therefore you will need to supply card details with each order or when requesting a refund.
PLACING ORDERS Please follow the easy steps as indicated on the website. After placing an order you will be sent an email confirming receipt of the order and with the order details. Once the goods are ready for despatch, your card will then be charged.
POSTAGE The postage charged when placing an order via this website applies only to the UK Mainland. Postage charges depend upon the value of the order.
Standard Delivery: Orders under £25.00 = £4.00, £25.00-£49.99 = £6.00, £50.00-£249.99 = £8.00 , orders of £250 or over are POST FREE
Express Delivery: Orders under £25.00 = £5.00, £25.00-£49.99 = £7.50, £50.00-£249.99 = £10.00 , orders of £250 or over = £2.50. During extremely busy periods, and holidays, 'Express Delivery' will not be available and if this is the case it will not be offered as an option. 'Express Delivery' orders are sent via Parcelforce 24hr or 1st Class Royal Mail. Please note that we cannot be held responsible if Parcelforce or Royal Mail fail to deliver packages on time.
The same charges apply to exchange goods. Please send the appropriate amount when returning items for exchange. Failure to do so will result in a delay in receiving your exchange goods. Extra carriage charges will apply to all countries outside the UK (including Southern Ireland). Extra charges may also apply to orders to the UK Scottish Highlands, UK Islands and Northern Ireland too. This is dependent on the weight of the parcel. Carriage will be confirmed once the order has been placed and you will be asked for confirmation that you wish to go ahead with the order.
DELIVERY Wherever possible we aim to despatch orders within 48 hours of receiving them (excluding weekends). Where 'Express Delivery' has been selected, and the order is received by us before 1pm, we aim to despatch the same day if possible (excluding weekends). If there is to be a delay in sending your goods we will inform you via email. If ordering made-to-order (Custom) items and standard (stock) items at the same time please make 2 separate orders if the stock items are required quickly. If the order is sent as one, the whole order will be despatched once the made-to-order item/s are ready.
DAMAGED & UN-DELIVERED GOODS Where parcels are received damaged on arrival please specify against your signature and inform us immediately. For UK mainland orders please inform us if you do not receive your order within 3 days of despatch (other destinations may take a little longer). No claims for damaged or un-delivered goods will be considered when more than 5 working days have passed since the date of despatch.
RETURNS & EXCHANGES If you return a stock item to us within 14 days, in perfect condition, complete with the original packing, we will be happy to exchange or refund it should it not fit your pony. Returns made after 14 days or soiled goods (with marks or hair on them) will not eligible for exchange or refund and will be returned at the customer’s expense. When trying rugs on your pony, always use an under rug or thin summer sheet. All goods must be returned in the original packaging and in the same new condition in which they were received. Please pack items carefully to avoid damage and enclose the invoice (or a copy of it) along with details of your requirements. Please send return parcels by traceable post or courier, as we will not be held responsible for any returned items that go missing in transit. All carriage costs will be payable by the customer when exchanging items where the incorrect size has been ordered. Return carriage will only be reimbursed where goods are proved to be faulty or supplied incorrectly. Please contact us before returning goods. If you consider a product to be faulty please contact us first and only return the item if requested to do so. Items that have been made-to-order, made to the customer’s own requirements and colours or with any alterations, embroidery or extras (leg straps etc.), or ordered especially for you, cannot be returned under any circumstances. Bits may not be returned once they have been tried in a pony’s mouth.
REFUNDS A refund (less postage and packing) will be provided on any stock item returned to us in the original packaging, unsoiled, within 14 days. A £2.00 handling charge will apply to refunds for returned items that are not faulty. Sale items and clearance lines are not returnable.
CANCELLATIONS Where cancellation has been requested after your card has been charged a £2.00 handling charge will apply to the refund. If the order has already been despatched the same terms apply as for returned items and the postage will not be refunded. Any orders for products specifically made or obtained to your requirements cannot be cancelled once processed.
USE OF THE WEBSITE Please ensure that your account details and passwords remain confidential. You will be responsible for all activities occurring under your account and password. Tack & Turnout reserves the right to edit or remove content, refuse access to the website or cancel orders at our discretion.
